🔍 What's a QR CODE ?
A QR code is a scannable image that stores info. For eSIMs, it makes setup super easy, just scan it with your phone to install your eSIM in seconds!
💡 Important
To install your eSIM, you must have an active data plan with us. If you don't have a data plan, you can buy one from the Destinations Tab and follow this guide.
We recommend completing this step before your flight as Internet is required to set up your eSIM. ✈️ We suggest installing your eSIM before you leave and then activating your eSIM data plan when you arrive at your destination.
You can send the QR code to another device (by message or email) so you can scan it with the device where you want to install the eSIM.
👨🏫 How to install my eSIM?
Simply return to the Home section in the menu bar, select Other installations methods and choose QR Code.

Step 1: Scan the QR 📷
OPEN Camera
SCAN the QR Code received (you can find it in the QR installation tutorial in your Kolet App)
On some device you can also upload the QR directly from your device by clicking on "Open Photos"
⚠️ If you are unable to scan the QR code, please proceed with manual installation.
Step 2: Activate 🚀
TAP on Cellular Plan
TAP on Continue
eSIM activation may take up to ⏱️ 3 minutes.
Step 3: Label eSIM 🏷️
It's important to name your eSIM to ‘Kolet’, so that you can easily
distinguish between your Primary SIM and eSIM
SELECT the most recently installed eSIM
TAP Cellular Plan Label
TAP Edit Custom Label
TYPE “Kolet” and go back to confirm the change.

ENSURE that Mobile data is set as Kolet.
