If you've successfully shared the QR code with another device, but encounter issues scanning it with your own device, you'll need to install the eSIM manually. 👨🔧.
💡 Important
To install your eSIM, you must have an active data plan with us. If you don't have a data plan, you can buy one from the Destinations Tab and follow this guide.
We recommend completing this step before your flight as Internet is required to set up your eSIM. ✈️ We suggest installing your eSIM before you leave and then activating your eSIM data plan when you arrive at your destination.
You can send the QR code to another device (by message or email) so you can scan it with the device where you want to install the eSIM.
👨🏫 How to install my eSIM?
Simply return to the Home section in the menu bar, select Other installations methods and choose Manual Installation.

Step 1: add eSIM ➕
OPEN Settings on your device
TAP on Mobile network/Cellular
TAP on Add eSIM
⚠️In the case you can't see Add eSIM, it means your device is not eSIM compatible.
Step 2: Set up ⚙️
SELECT Use QR Code
SELECT Scan QR Code
TAP on Enter Details Manually
COPY and PASTE the SMDP Address and Activation codes (The details are available in the Manual Installation section in your Kolet app, you can copy and paste them)
Step 3: Confirm the installation 🚀
TAP on Continue to complete the installation
SELECT the most recently installed eSIM in your settings.
The “PLUS” at the top indicates that this is your Kolet eSIM.
