Public Wi-Fi or weak connections might not be reliable enough to install your eSIM. For a smooth setup, switch to a strong mobile network or a secure, stable Wi-Fi.
We suggest installing your eSIM before your flight using your primary line or your domestic Wifi. Then activating your eSIM data plan when you arrive at your destination.
To install your eSIM, you must have an active data plan with us. If you don't have a data plan, you can buy one from the Kolet App and follow this guide.
🚀 Installing Your eSIM Automatically
Go the Home section in the menu bar and click on "Install eSIM" then select "Start Installation".

When you see the "Activate Your eSIM" window, click on "Activate." Your device should then automatically install the eSIM.

After installing the eSIM in the app, go to your cellular Settings and turn on the newly installed eSIM.

We recommend renaming the Kolet eSIM to “Kolet” to avoid any confusion when managing your settings.
For Calls and Messages, you can choose whichever option you prefer. Kolet doesn’t come with a phone number, so you can keep your Primary SIM selected and press Next.
For Mobile Data, select Kolet to make sure you use your data plan to stay connected, then finish the setup by pressing Done.

After installing the eSIM in the app, go to your Cellular Settings and turn on the newly installed eSIM to start the SIM preferences settings— on Pixel devices, the Kolet eSIM often appears as “Plus.”
