To install your eSIM, you must have an active data plan with us. If you don't have a data plan, you can buy one from your Kolet App, in the Shop Section and follow this guide.
⚠️ Kolet eSIM needs to be installed only once. When traveling to another country, there is no need to install a new eSIM. You just need to top up your data plan.
If you have any doubt, you can check if your eSIM is installed on your device.
⚠️Please ensure that you install your eSIM before you arrive at the airport, as connectivity is often unstable.
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to install your eSIM for the first time with ease:
Before Flight 🛫
Step 1: Open Kolet 📲
OPEN Kolet app on your device and GO to Home section
CLICK on Install my eSIM now in the home menu if you already have a data plan

Step 2: Choose Installation Method 🛠️
You will be presented with 3 options:
Automatic installation (recommended) : Read the instructions and click on the "Install eSIM now". Then you can follow this guide.
Activation Code: Alternatively, if the automatic installation is not accessible or if you don't have another device available, you can select the activation code option. An activation code allows you to manually input the necessary information to install the eSIM. This method is useful as a backup in case the QR code method is not feasible. You can follow this guide.
QR Code: If you choose this option, a QR code will be sent to another device. You can then scan this QR code directly with your device to install the eSIM. This method offers a quick and convenient way to set up your eSIM.
Step 3: Follow Installation Guide 📖
Depending on your chosen method, follow the on-screen instructions provided by the app.

Your updated plan details, including the data remaining, will now be displayed on the home page of the app.
