📋 How to install my eSIM via QR Code?

Welcome to our guide on setting up your eSIM using a QR code. Whether you're a seasoned eSIM enthusiast or new to the concept, this step-by-step tutorial will walk you through the process of installing your eSIM in less than 5 minutes. 🕒

To install your eSIM, you must have an active data plan with us. If you don't have a data plan, you can buy one from the App Store and follow this guide.

We recommend completing this step before your flight as Internet is required to set up your eSIM. ✈️ We suggest installing your eSIM before you leave and then activating your eSIM data plan when you arrive at your destination.

⚠️Please ensure that you install your eSIM before you arrive at the airport, as connectivity is often unstable.

🍎 For Apple iOS devices

Step 1: Scan the QR 📷

OPEN Camera
SCAN the QR Code received (you can find it in the QR installation tutorial in your Kolet App)
On some device you can also upload the QR directly from your device by clicking on "Open Photos"

⚠️ If you are unable to scan the QR code, please proceed with manual installation.

Step 2: Activate 🚀

Tap on Continue

eSIM activation may take up to ⏱️ 3 minutes.

Step 3: Set Primary 🥇

It's important to name your eSIM to ‘Kolet’, so that you can easily
distinguish between your Primary SIM and eSIM.

SELECT Secondary

⚠️Make sure not to activate 'Allow Cellular Data Switching,' as this could inadvertently lead to the usage of data from your original number while abroad.

Step 5: Label eSIM 🏷️

It's important to name your eSIM to ‘Kolet’, so that you can easily
distinguish between your Primary SIM and eSIM
