♾️ How Unlimited plans work
Kolet Unlimited plans are daily data passes available in selected destinations. They are made for travelers who want a large amount of data every day without having to choose a fixed GB package upfront.
Your Unlimited plan starts when you first use data, not when you buy it. From that moment, each daily period gives you 5 GB of data. If you use the 5 GB before your next daily reset, your connection stays active but your speed is reduced to 1 Mbps.
Your daily allowance resets every 24 hours from your first data use. For example, if your Unlimited plan starts at 4 PM, your daily allowance resets around 4 PM each day for the rest of your plan.
If you buy more Unlimited days for the same destination, they extend the duration of your existing pass.
For now, Unlimited plans can only be purchased from the Kolet app. They are not available for purchase on our website yet.

If Unlimited is available for your destination, you will see it in the Kolet app when choosing your plan.

What does 5 GB/day + 1 Mbps reduced speed mean?
What does 5 GB/day + 1 Mbps reduced speed mean?
It means that each daily period includes 5 GB of data. Once you have used those 5 GB, your plan does not stop. Your speed is reduced to 1 Mbps until your next daily reset.
At 1 Mbps, you can still use everyday apps like maps, music, messaging, images, and web browsing. Video streaming will not work well at this reduced speed.

Your speed is reduced when you have used the 5 GB available for your current daily period.
You do not need to do anything. Your speed will automatically reset at the start of your next daily period, which happens every 24 hours from your first data use.
Can I share a hotspot?

Yes. Kolet does not add a specific hotspot or tethering restriction on Unlimited plans.
If your speed has already been reduced to 1 Mbps, hotspot will also feel slower, especially if several devices are connected.

Unlimited is not designed for heavy video streaming all day. Video streaming can use your 5 GB daily allowance quickly.
Once your speed is reduced to 1 Mbps, it is not enough for video streaming. You can still use maps, music, messaging, images, and web browsing.

No. The Share Data feature, also called data donation, is available for Standard data plans, not Unlimited plans.

No. Unlimited plans reset every 24 hours, so there is no leftover GB balance to convert into Koins.

What if I also have a Standard data plan?

If you have both an Unlimited plan and a Standard data plan for the same destination, your Unlimited plan is used first.
Your Standard data plan will start being used after your Unlimited plan ends.
