Seeing a PIN or PUK prompt on your Kolet eSIM

Updated this week

Seeing a PIN or PUK code prompt on your Kolet eSIM? No worries! This is likely a setup issue, and it’s usually an easy fix. Kolet doesn’t lock your eSIM, but sometimes a PIN gets activated by mistake.

🛠 How to Fix It

Try Common Codes
Sometimes, a default PIN can unlock the eSIM. Try these codes first:

  • 1234 or 0000 – These are common default PINs.

  • Your primary SIM’s PIN code – Occasionally, your phone applies this to the eSIM.

Still Locked? 🔑

If those don’t work, we’re here to help! Reach out to our support team and we’ll guide you through the next steps to get your eSIM up and running.

Is the SIM or PUK Request for Your Primary Line? 🤕

If the PIN or PUK prompt is related to your primary SIM (not your Kolet eSIM), you’ll need to contact your mobile carrier for assistance. They can provide the correct unlock code and help you regain access to your SIM.
