🔄 How to convert your unused data into Kolet Koins

Get the most out of your data plan and never let a single GB go to waste!

💡 Why convert unused data?

At Kolet, we don't want you to waste any unused data. Nothing is lost!

When you have leftover data in your plan, you can convert it into Kolet Koins, our credits that you can use to purchase any future data plan with us. Think of it as getting a refund for the data you didn't use.

✅ Am I eligible?

You can convert your unused data if:

  • You have more than 1 GB remaining in your data plan

  • Your plan can be expired or active, it doesn't matter!

Note: Kolet Koins conversion is available for regular plans only. Gift plans (plans sent to you by friends or family or travel partners offers) are not eligible for conversion.

📱 How to convert your unused data

Before you start: Make sure your Kolet app is updated to the latest version (1.72.2 or newer).

Step-by-step process:

  1. Open your Kolet app and go to your active destination

  2. Tap the three dots menu (⋯) on your plan card

  3. Select "Stop plan and convert unused data to credits"

  4. Review the conversion details - you'll see exactly how many Kolet Koins you'll receive

  5. Tap "Convert into credit" to confirm

That's it! Your unused data is now converted into Kolet Koins and added to your account.

⚠️ Important: Once the conversion is done, your current plan will be cancelled and will no longer be usable.

💰 Understanding Kolet Koins

What are Kolet Koins?

  • Kolet Koins are credits that can be used to buy any future data plan with us

  • They never expire, so you can use them whenever you want!

  • 100 Koins = $1 USD (or equivalent in your local currency)

  • App-only credits: Kolet Koins can only be used within the Kolet app to purchase data plans

  • No cash conversion: Kolet Koins and unused data cannot be converted back to real money they're exclusively for buying Kolet services

⚖️ How to check your Kolet Koins balance

Go to the "Profile" tab in your app, then tap on "Credits" to see your total Koins balance and transaction history.

💸 How to use your Kolet Koins

  1. Open the app and go to the Destinations tab

  2. Select your destination and choose the amount of data you’d like

  3. Tap Continue

  4. At the top of the screen, make sure the “Use my credits” toggle is ON (it's ON by default!)


    ⚠️ If you don’t want to use your credits, remember to turn this off manually.
