How to make sure I'm not using internet on my primary sim card.

💡When travelling internationally, it's important to make sure you don't incur any unexpected charges on your primary SIM card. Here's a simple guide on how to do this:

🍎 For Apple iOS devices

1 - Use Kolet eSIM for Data:

  • Make sure your eSIM is installed and activated.

  • OPEN Settings, then TAP Mobile Service (UK) or Cellular (US)

  • TAP on Cellular Data

  • SELECT Kolet (eSIM)

⚠️ Make sure that Allow Cellular Data Switching is Turned OFF

2- Disable Roaming:

  • Go to Settings.

  • Tap Cellular or Mobile Data.

  • Select your primary SIM card.

  • Toggle Data Roaming off.

🤖For Samsung Android devices

Use Kolet eSIM for Data:

  • Make sure your Kolet eSIM is installed and activated.

  • OPEN Settings.

  • SELECT the Connections option

  • CLICK on SIM Manager.

  • CLICK on Primary SIM

  • SELECT Kolet (eSIM)

⚠️ Make sure that Data Switching and backup calling is Turned OFF

​Turn Off Data Roaming:

  • Make sure your Kolet eSIM is installed and activated.

  • TAP on Network and Internet

  • TAP on SIM

  • TAP on your Primary SIM

  • ENSURE that Data Roaming is Turned off

  • ENSURE that Switch mobile data automatically is Turned Off
